Outer Cape Third Quarter Statistics
With the third quarter behind us, and the market responding well to the improved economy, I have attached the statistics for the Outer Cape market. Real Estate is still on the front burner of most of our clients mind especially here on the Cape due to our location, access to the National Seashore, and the terrific lifestyle it provides.
The end of August and the first part of September brought a surge of homebuyers to town, and resulted in pending properties going to contact at about 53 units. It was amazing and shows buyers are ready. After looking for a period of time, they decided to act to secure their unit and not loose something they had admired for months. Their hope that the market would adjust evaporated, and buyers wanted to buy and ready themselves for the 2010 season. We had eight closing yesterday, and the momentum continues boosting our current confidence in the local market and our future outlook for the balance of the year.
