Increase in Market Traffic! 2009 vs 2010

At this time of the month, I enjoy sending information that keeps my clients up to date with the market activity, and the sentiment of those coming to town to explore property.  Yes, that sends a different message from last year when interest was minimal, but the buyers that are coming this year have done their homework, and are serious about buying.  Consumer confidence has improved, and I feel time heals all distractions where everyone has learned to overcome past challenges of 2009.  Customers have told me that they have learned its time to enjoy life, and not to pass on opportunities that will provide them a lifestyle they have long thought about to balance their daily lives.

We have seen a significant increase in not only telephone calls, but actually visits to the Outer Cape to explore the possibilities, and see what would fit their criteria.  YTD in 2009 we had 11 sales…4 single family homes, and 7 condos.  2010 activity has significantly increased to 21 sales…4 single family, 4 multi family, and 13 condos.  Right now we have 8 properties pending to close, and we have not completed the month.  Customers feel excited, and want to take advantage of prices and low interest rates while they last considering summer is fast approaching.

Each month I include an article of interest, and this one concentrates on stress.  It’s simple and some of you probably have incorporated these ideas in your everyday living.  The key is balance…Reducing stress keeps are minds free, open, alert, and willing to make change.  Enjoy the article, and by the way, if you know anyone looking to buy or sell here on the Cape, keep me in mind as their Realtor!
